DECREE NoDECREE No. 17/2003/ND-CP of February 20, 2003 on the establishment of Chon Thanh and Bu Dop rural districts of Binh Phuoc province
To establish Chon Thanh rural district on the basis of a land area of 41,457.8 ha and a population of 53,323 of Binh Long rural district, consisting of Minh Long, Minh Thanh, Tan Quan, Nha Bach, Minh Lap, Minh Thang and Minh Hung communes and Chon Thanh township.
Binh Long rural district shall be reduced to a land area of 75,612.4 ha and a population of 129,453, with Thanh Luong, Thanh Phu, An Khuong, Thanh An, Tan Hung, Tan Loi, Phuoc An, Thanh Binh, An Phu, Minh Duc, Dong No and Tan Khai communes and An Loc township.
To establish Bu Dop rural district on the basis of a land area of 37,750.48 ha and a population of 45,253 of Loc Ninh rural district, with the communes of Hung Phuoc, Thien Hung, Thanh Hoa, Tan Tien and Tan Thanh.
Loc Ninh rural district shall be reduced to a land area of 86,297.52 ha and a population of 102,291, with Loc Hiep, Loc Quang, Loc An, Loc Hoa, Loc Tan, Loc Thai, Loc Thien, Loc Khanh, Loc Dien, Loc Thuan, Loc Hung and Loc Thanh communes and Loc Ninh township.- (Summary)
