DECISION No. 121/1998/QD-TTg of July 9, 1998 on the establishment of Vietnam Committee for the Elderly's International Year

To set up the Vietnam Committee for the Elderly's International Year with Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem as its Chairman.

The Committee is tasked to: organize the wide-ranging propaganda on the significance of the Elderly's International Year, sum up and introduce achievements in the elderly's health study, protection and care in Vietnam and the rest of the world; work out a national plan in response to the Elderly's International Year and organize the implementation thereof nationwide; introduce good examples of the elderly in social activities and achievements of organizations and individuals in the care of the elderly; and establish international relations related to the above-mentioned tasks.- (Summary)
